Here are some of the campgrounds you can enjoy with your family and friends.

Twin Lakes Campground in Mammoth Lakes

Twin Lakes Campground is located in the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains near the town of Mammoth Lakes, California.

The campsite lets you enjoy various outdoor activities on land and on water. Campers can choose from fishing, boating, viewing waterfalls, and hiking.

The facility has 95 reservable spaces spread across both sides of Twin Lakes—the west side closer to the shore while the east side is set on a hill. It also offers basic camping amenities such as picnic tables, campfire rings, flush toilets, and drinking water.

East Fork Campground in Rock Creek

Enjoy the wooded sanctuary offered by East Fork Canyon in the eastern Sierra Nevada Mountains in California. The campground is surrounded by pine and fir trees, as well as aspens that turn golden during autumn.

The facility is large and accommodating as it can serve up to 133 reservable spaces that offer great mountain views. The site is also adjacent to Rock Creek, making it an excellent place for trout fishing.

Since the area is inhabited by bears, East Fork provides bear-proof lockers for food storage within the campground.

The campsite’s peak season run from May 17, 2019, through October 6, 2019.

Brown’s Town Campground in Bishop Area

Brown’s Town is said to be Bishop’s most beautiful RV and tent-camping resort. It offers 150 sites for tent and RVs. It lets you enjoy the great outdoors with facilities that make you feel at home, such as electricity, cable TV, hot showers, clean restrooms, and coin-op laundry.

There’s a lot to do in Brown’s Town. There’s a museum that lets you experience the Old West main street. It also showcases Bishop’s past.

Other amenities include a cafè that specializes in hot and cold sandwiches, old-fashioned ice cream fountain and homemade pies. If you forgot to bring something, there’s also a country store that sells camping needs, souvenirs and fishing tackle.

Mono Vista RV Park in Lee Vining

Mono Vista RV Park boasts of its proximity to Yosemite National Park, Mono Lake, Bodie Ghost Town, and scenic Tioga Pass.

Owned by the Beaver family, the campground offers great RV sites and tent sites in a park-like setting with restroom, shower and laundry facilities.

Mono Vista also has on-site recreation facilities such as a community room for groups, playground and horseshoe pits to let you further enjoy the place.

If you want to experience adventure, staying in Mono Vista gives you accessibility to must-visit places—Mono Lake or to Bodie GhostTown—for just a short day excursion. Yosemite National Park is also just a short 12-mile drive to the top of Tioga Pass.
