Looking for campgrounds that are open during the pandemic? Check our newest post

The 2016-2017 winter was a whopper! On the plus side, our lakes and streams are filling up and, at least for now, the drought is on hold. Although the snow is melting fast (even gone in most areas) unfortunately, it looks like it is proving to be quite a challenge and some of the campgrounds have changed their scheduled opening dates including the Lake’s Basin in Mammoth Lakes and Devils Postpile.

But don’t worry, there are many other campgrounds in the area that are open for you to enjoy. Although many of these listed campgrounds are reserve-able, it is important to note many sites are first come first serve so don’t be discouraged if you look online and it shows full.
