Water Activities to Enjoy While RV Camping in Mammoth

Adventure in Camping has four great Campgrounds that can put you right on the water if you don’t want to have to travel far each day for some fun water activities. You can enjoy your drive up thru the mountains while taking the breathtaking views and find your home for the next few days stocked, ready and waiting for you at your campsite. With 16 different trailer models to choose from, ranging in occupancy from 3-9 people, you might want to take some friends with you! Twin Lakes Campground, Lake Mary Campground, Lake George Campground and Coldwater Campground are where you want to look into if you want a front porch view of the many Mammoth Lakes.
Twin Lakes Campground offers lakeside rental spaces so you can wake up and literally walk straight to the lake.
The Lake Mary Marina is a launch spot on the north shore and has kayak, SUP, and fishing boat rentals. Pokonobe Resort and Marina are also located on the northern shore of Lake Mary and offers pontoon, motorboat, kayak, and paddleboard rentals. More of a fisherman and want to enjoy the lake while reeling in a big one? The Marina also has fishing supplies, and rentals, as well as a general store selling most things you may need including beer, ice, snacks, and cold drinks.
Lake George has a boat launch facilities and fishing motorboat rentals. George is one of the smaller lakes in the basin, but it is not short on its magnificent views. It’s tucked just beneath Crystal Crag and is surrounded by granite cliffs, so don’t forget your camera!
The Coldwater campground offers easy access to fishing for rainbow, brook and brown trout in Lake Mary.
