 CROWLEY LAKE, CONVICT LAKE, ROCK CREEK AREA

            South of the town of Mammoth Lakes, 10 to 20 miles, but in the High Sierras, ranging in altitude from 7000’ to 9000’.

McGee Creek Campground

            Very open camping with few trees, but on the creek with good fishing.  Away from the beaten path, but near a horse stable and trailhead.
